Above 1x: Speed up (fast-forward effect)
Below 1x: Slow down (slow-motion effect)

Speed Settings

Select any video clip on the timeline — the Clip Settings panel appears on the right. Adjust speed in the Speed Settings section:

Click preset buttons like 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x for instant speed changes.

Drag the Playback Speed slider, or enter a precise value (e.g., 2.05) in the input field.

Duration Changes

Speed adjustments change the clip's length on the timeline:

Speed up: Video gets shorter, clip shrinks left
Slow down: Video gets longer, clip extends right (may be limited by available space)
