Quick Start

ScreenSage Pro takes a recording or an existing video into one editable project. Follow the path below to make a first draft without learning every editing tool at once.

Make Your First Video

  1. Complete System Permissions so ScreenSage Pro can capture the sources you choose.
  2. Open New Recording, select a display, region, window, or mobile device, then choose the microphone, system audio, and camera sources you need.
  3. Use Recording Controls to pause, resume, restart, discard, or finish the take.
  4. In the editor, remove mistakes and waiting time with Trimming, then use the Track System for zooms, captions, camera layouts, masks, 3D motion, keystrokes, and music.
  5. Review the result and Export Video as MP4 or MOV.

Choose a Starting Path

  • Screen demo or tutorial: record interaction events, then use zooms, cursor effects, captions, and keystroke display to make operations easier to follow.
  • Presenter video: record the screen and camera separately, then use the Presenter Workflow to switch between camera and screen layouts.
  • Mobile or vertical video: capture an iPhone or iPad, then set the final Canvas and Aspect Ratio in the editor.
  • Existing footage: use Import Existing Video instead of making a new recording.

Continue Editing

Save the editable .screensage project before making larger changes. When you want a faster first draft, open the Template Browser, preview a compatible template, and review its result before continuing.
