Connect your iOS device via USB
First-time connections will prompt you to trust this computer on your device — tap "Trust".
Open the Recording Options Panel
Select Device — an iOS preview window will appear
If your device isn't listed:
- Check the USB connection
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
Select your iOS device from the list. Once the preview appears, click Record
The current device workflow captures the iPhone or iPad picture, not its internal audio. You can still enable a Mac microphone and webcam separately, which is useful for narrated iOS tutorials.
iPhone & iPad Device Frames
After recording an iOS device, the editor can wrap the captured screen in a Device Mockup frame. The current picker includes iPhone 16-family models and multiple iPad / iPad Air / iPad Pro / iPad mini frames, with model, orientation, and available color variants.
