Managing Recording

During a recording, ScreenSage Pro provides a floating control bar for real-time management.

Control Options

• Duration: Shows elapsed recording time
• Audio waveform: Live audio visualization to monitor microphone input
• Pause / Resume: Temporarily stop capture, then continue the same take
• Stop recording: Finish and enter the editor
• Restart: Discard current take and start fresh
• Discard: Abandon the current recording entirely

Pause and Resume

Pause when you need to prepare the next step without ending the take. Time spent paused is excluded from the effective recording duration and from the media timeline. Resume only after the screen and audio sources are ready again.
