Recording Troubleshooting

ScreenSage Pro surfaces common recording risks such as missing microphones, low disk space, device disconnects, and performance pressure.

Microphone and Device Issues

If no microphone is available, you can continue with silent recording or cancel. For narrated videos, fix the microphone before recording.

Disk Space

Video recording writes continuously to disk. If space is low, free storage or choose a disk with more room before long recordings.

Performance Warnings

Performance warnings include FPS, dropped frames, loss, and target FPS. You can continue, stop and save, or open Activity Monitor to investigate.
