Select Window mode to record a specific app window.

Understand the Capture Region

ScreenSage Pro uses the selected window's bounds to create a fixed recording region on its display. This applies to both the Modern and Legacy engines:

• Moving or resizing the window after recording starts does not move or resize the capture region.
• Another window placed over that region can appear in the recording.
• Keep the target window in its starting position and avoid covering it during the take.

Use the Modern engine for the current capture path and system-audio support. Switch to Legacy only when troubleshooting compatibility.
